Brooke Reynolds
Brooke holds a J.D. and Master of Public Administration from the University of Montana School of Law. During law school, she interned with the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation in the Water Rights Bureau and clerked for the Montana Water Court.
After graduating, she served as a law clerk for the Montana Third Judicial District Court, working closely with multiple district court judges on various civil and criminal matters. She then returned to the Montana Water Court, where she served as a Water Master and also acted as a law clerk to former Chief Water Judge Russ McElyea and current Chief Water Judge Stephen R. Brown, working on some of the most prominent and challenging water law cases in recent years.
Prior to practicing law, Brooke worked various jobs in Montana’s outfitting industry and as a ranch hand, gaining real-world experience that informs her practical and effective approach to water and land use law.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Montana State University in Bozeman, graduating with an Honors Baccalaureate and receiving the university’s Award for Excellence, awarded to those with outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement.
Brooke lives in the Ruby Valley with her husband and their dogs. Outside the office, she enjoys fly fishing, skiing, gardening, and lending a hand to others in the community. Brooke also frequents the Upper Ruby, where her parents manage a ranch at the base of the Snowcrest and Gravelly mountain ranges. She currently serves as a board member for the Beaverhead Animal Shelter.
